In short: JobShot keeps its working library on your device. It does not require an account and does not send your job photos, job names, annotations, or location data to VecP Labs. JobShot contains no advertising or analytics services.
JobShot is an Android application provided by VecP Labs LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how JobShot accesses, uses, stores, and shares information.
Information JobShot accesses
JobShot may access and process the following information on your device:
- Camera images: Photos you take using JobShot.
- Location: Precise or approximate foreground device location, including coordinates and accuracy, used to associate photos with nearby jobs and optionally display capture-location information.
- Selected photos and files: Images you explicitly select, open, or share with JobShot for import.
- Content you enter: Job names, labels, drawings, shapes, and other photo annotations.
- Local app information: Capture times, job relationships, settings, file paths, and other metadata required to organize and operate the local library.
How information is used
JobShot uses this information to provide its on-device features, including capturing and organizing job photos, matching photos with nearby jobs, editing and annotating photos, preparing Before / After images, searching the local library, opening coordinates in a mapping app, and creating user-requested shares or backup files.
Collection and sharing
JobShot does not transmit your information to VecP Labs or to a JobShot server. The app has no account system, advertising, analytics, cloud synchronization, tracking SDK, or developer-operated backend.
Information leaves JobShot only when you deliberately choose an Android share, export, mapping, or file action. The destination you select—such as a messaging app, email provider, cloud-storage service, Files, or Maps—then handles that copy under its own terms and privacy policy.
Storage, retention, and deletion
JobShot stores its working library in app-private storage on your device. Information remains there until you delete photos or jobs in JobShot, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall the app. Exported or shared copies remain under your control and the control of the destination you selected.
Because JobShot does not receive or store your information on a developer-operated server, there is no JobShot account or server-held user data to request that we delete.
Security and backups
JobShot relies on Android’s application sandbox to protect its private local storage. No storage method can be guaranteed completely secure, so you are responsible for protecting access to your device and maintaining any backups you need. Losing, wiping, or damaging the device—or uninstalling JobShot—may permanently remove local data unless you previously exported a backup.
Permissions
JobShot requests camera access for user-initiated photo capture and foreground location access for proximity-based job organization and optional coordinate features. You can manage these permissions through Android settings. Some functionality may be unavailable when a required permission is denied.
Children’s privacy
JobShot is a work-productivity utility and is not directed to children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when JobShot’s features, data practices, or applicable requirements change. We will identify the current version by updating the effective date shown above.
